A skeptical executive returns to her Amazonian home and, with two college friends, must embrace her ancestral family legacy to launch a revolutionary chocolate brand and confront a ruthless rival driven by a generational lie.

ACT I
EXT. CACAO PLANTATION – MÜLLER ESTATE, PARÁ – DAY (FLASHBACK – 1980)
Vibrant, saturated, dreamlike.
Miguel (30s) dances with his pregnant wife LUÍSA among the trees. He opens a cacao pod and offers the beans to her — a symbol of life and abundance.
MIGUEL (V.O.):
“Earth doesn’t just give you fruit. It gives you memory.”

2. EXT. CACAO PLANTATION – MÜLLER ESTATE – DAY (PRESENT)
Harsh light, weary plantation. Miguel (70s) stands in the same place, wind and heavy breaths replace the past’s joyful sounds. He staggers. Pedro rushes over.
PEDRO Boss! That’s enough for today. The sun’s too strong.
MIGUEL (gasping)
The earth doesn’t rest, Pedro.
Miguel coughs. Workers support him off-screen. A diseased cacao tree stands out.
INT. MODERN OFFICE – ZURICH – DAY Minimalist, cold, snow falling outside.
Laura Müller (30s), sharp and elegant, is on a video call in English.
LAURA
It’s not about tradition—it’s about margin. We streamline the process, cut overhead, win. Simple as that.
Her call ends. Her phone buzzes twice—video from “Pedro – Farm.” She ignores him, conflicted.
INT. KING’S CAVE BAR – ZURICH – LATE AFTERNOON
Cozy, wooden interior. Laura and Sophie (30s), Swiss with Brazilian warmth, share a glass of wine.
SOPHIE
Back to HQ. Just missing José theorizing about your hot chocolate’s rheology.
LAURA (weak smile)
He’s trying to craft the perfect chocolate, as always.
SOPHIE
And you? Too busy forgetting where you came from? Heard from home?
LAURA Same as always. The farm’s struggling. Prices…
SOPHIE
Our ETH project… “Amazon Origin Narratives”? You were so passionate. What happened?
LAURA (bitter)
Life happened, Sophie. Or death, actually. After mom… everything died a bit. The farm, him… Dad sent me away to save me from dust and grief.
SOPHIE (empathetic)
I know… but remember our paper at ETH? Your future vision? This… (points to Laura’s phone and the farm)… is the missing chapter. Maybe it’s time to write it.
(Sensory flash of Luísa touching young Laura, laughter, rain in the soil.)
Another call from Lígia: Laura answers, fear replacing frustration.
LAURA (in Portuguese)
Lígia? What do you mean, in hospital? …I’m coming.
5. MONTAGE – JOURNEY BACK
Laura flies first-class in a large A380; her face reflective.
Shot of white clouds through the window.
Cut to a small twin-engine plane over endless green, sounds of nature.
Touchdown on a dirt field. Pedro waits; the Amazon’s heat and sounds flood her senses.
INT. BEDROOM—MÜLLER ESTATE – DAY
Miguel, frail but sharp-eyed, offers Laura an old leather-bound notebook.
MIGUEL
I failed… I tried to protect you by sending you away. But your place—your strength—always was here.
Laura takes the notebook filled with notes, diagrams, formulas.
MIGUEL Everything we were. Everything you can be. It’s all here.
He closes his eyes, exhausted. Laura accepts her inheritance.

ACT II
7. EXT. FERMENTING WAREHOUSE – MÜLLER ESTATE – DUSK
Laura examines wooden boxes labeled “RESERVE 1994.” Pedro approaches.
PEDRO Your mother’s last batch. Before… she left. Your father was never the same. Neither was the chocolate.
LAURA
What happened to the business?
PEDRO
Dieter. He arrived offering to buy everything at a flat price. Said our time was over. Choked out the small producers. Your father resisted… until he couldn’t.
Name “DIETER” hovers. Laura opens a box; an intense aroma fills her. An idea sparks.
INT. CHOCOLATE LAB – ZURICH – DAY
José (30s), passionate, examines dark beans under a microscope. Sophie watches. He tastes one.
JOSÉ
This is impossible…
JOSÉ
Sophie… try.
Sophie tastes, astonished.
SOPHIE
My God…
JOSÉ
It’s the flavor profile… the one we imagined at ETH. Everyone thought it was academic fantasy. She found it. Laura found it.
SOPHIE
(eyes bright)
Then what are we even doing here?
EXT. MÜLLER ESTATE – DAY
Rental pickup arrives. José and Sophie disembark. José runs his hand over fermenting boxes.
JOSÉ (whisper)
I never thought… our ETH project would come to life. And here…
He turns to Laura.
JOSÉ
The wood, humidity, native microbes… This isn’t agriculture. It’s a cathedral. Machines can’t replicate it. It’s treasure.
INT. LIVING ROOM – MÜLLER ESTATE – NIGHT (“BIRTH OF OKOKO”) Trio gathered around maps, bills, notes.
LAURA Dieter made another offer. It’s insulting. He knows we’re at the brink.
SOPHIE
Then we don’t sell beans. We sell the whole story. A brand.
Sophie reveals an elegant logo on her tablet: OKOKO.
SOPHIE
Okoko – “cocoa” in Yoruba. Origin of everything. The flipped K and O represent Brazil.
JOSÉ
With these beans… I can make something Europe’s never tasted. A chocolate that tastes like home.
Laura studies the logo, then her friends. She smiles with hope.
LAURA
Let’s do this.
11. MONTAGE – THE STRUGGLE
Laura works the soil, learning from the notebook.
José experiments with batches in makeshift lab.
Sophie builds narrative, contacts distributors remotely.
First OKOKO batch is packed.
Genèva trade fair: ecstatic reactions; media notices.
12. INT. DIETER’S OFFICE – SWITZERLAND – NIGHT
Cold modern luxury. Dieter (Jeff Fahey, 60s) reads an article: “OKOKO – Amazon Treasure.” He stares at an old photo of his father and Laura’s grandfather. Picks up phone.
DIETER
The Müller girl is getting too big. Time to remind her of the rules. Start with bureaucracy. Bury her in paperwork.
13. INT. MUNICIPAL OFFICE – PARÁ – DAY
Laura hands over a thick folder; the clerk is stunned.
LAURA It’s all here. On time.
She turns to leave.
LAURA
Get used to it.
INT. DIETER’S OFFICE – NIGHT
Dieter paces, phone in hand, cold fury showing.
DIETER
She got the permits. Bureaucracy didn’t work.
He looks at the old photo again.
DIETER (cont’d)
They don’t get it. That land should’ve been ours. Everything my father lost, everything he suffered… and now his granddaughter shows up and becomes the symbol of the Amazon? With our history? Unacceptable.
Pause. Decisions harden.
DIETER (cont’d)
Call Belém. Activate plan B. If we can’t have the source… no one will.
15. EXT. MÜLLER ESTATE – NIGHT (EVERYTHING LOST)
Clandestine fireworks ignite a storage shed ablaze. Laura, Pedro, José and workers frantically fight flames as a building collapses. Laura stands, burning building behind her, face lit in firelight.
LAURA He will not win.

ACT III
INT. LOCAL POLICE STATION – DAY The skeptical inspector remains doubtful.
INSPECTOR
No proof, no witnesses… I can do nothing, ma’am.
LAURA
What about this?
Sophie hands over a flash drive.
LAURA
We installed a security camera last week. It might be grainy—but the men we believe are his hitmen are visible.
The inspector, surprised, takes it.
17. MONTAGE – THE TURNING POINT
Grainy footage from capangas goes viral with hashtag #SabotageInTheAmazon.
Sophie gives international interviews. OKOKO becomes a resistance symbol.
Pre-orders for next batch spike.
INT. DIETER’S OFFICE / MÜLLER ESTATE – NIGHT (THE SHOWDOWN)
A video call. Dieter’s face filled with rage.
DIETER
You think you’ve won? You and your thieves. Celebrating the empire your grandfather stole from my father!
Laura, ice-cold, closes her laptop.
LAURA
I read his diaries. About their friendship. About your father’s gambling debts in Monaco. My grandfather didn’t steal from him. He saved him—and saved this land.
Dieter opens his mouth in shock. Laura stops him.
LAURA
The story you heard was your father’s shield. You don’t have to believe me. I’ve just sent you the files— his diary, banking records. See for yourself.
An email alert appears on Dieter’s screen: “The Truth”. His expression cracks. She does not need to gloat—just sorrow.
Laura ends the call. Dieter freezes, then hesitantly clicks to open the email. His face falls as truth sinks in. He’s not defeated. He’s undone.
EXT. MÜLLER ESTATE – DAY (CELEBRATION)
A vibrant community celebration. Music, food, laughter. José and Sophie toast with Laura.
SOPHIE
To the Amazon’s King’s Cave!
They laugh. Miguel, in wheelchair, watches tearfully. Laura steps up.
LAURA
We didn’t just inherit land. We inherited a story. And now, the whole world is listening. Thank you.
20. EXT. TOWN SQUARE – NIGHT (FINAL WALTZ)
Farm celebration lingers in the distance. Miguel sits alone in a town square, serene, smiling. Laura approaches and kneels.
LAURA
(softly)
Dad?
Miguel looks up.
LAURA We did it.
She helps him stand from his wheelchair. They embrace and begin a slow dance.
LAURA (whispering)
Mom would be proud.
Miguel closes his eyes, peaceful.
Camera revolves around them—when it completes, Laura and Miguel have transformed into young Luísa and Miguel in their opening attire. They dance beneath the stars. A rising drone reveals the village, the farm, the cacao fields, the Amazon. Reverse of opening.
MUSIC CRESCENDO: Final theme over credits.
FADE TO BLACK.
